biophilia explores questions around speciesism, anthropocentrism, and interspecies ethics. The piece critiques the contradictions inherent in human attempts to control, domesticate, or exploit nature. In Biophilia, performers are enclosed in cages covered with scrim, where projections blend their bodies with erased images of footage of slaughterhouses,  environmental destruction and abstract biomorphic imagery.
